  • Now type devmgmt.msc, and press enter, to open the device manager.
  • Click IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers to expand it, and search for the Standard SATA AHCI controller.
  • Right-click the Standard SATA AHCI controller, and click Uninstall.
  • Restart the system, when prompted, and then Install the Norton Utilities.
